STUCCO

The finishing technique of stucco is used on walls. It is a finishing plaster that is used as decoration and can be applied manually or mechanically. It's a combination of limestone, sand, cement, and water. It may be applied directly to a solid base structure, masonry, or concrete walls. The substance is strong, heavy, and durable which helps it last a very long time.

The mixture can be prepared on-site or purchased as a pre-mixed product. For mixed on-site stucco, it's important to understand how much of each ingredient is required. The only addition required for pre-mixed stucco, on the other hand, is water; all other additions have already been taken care of by the manufacturer.

PARGING

Since they are all used for finishing, parging and stucco are comparable. Parging can be used both inside and outside, but it's not usually applied to enhance the beauty of a home's exterior as opposed to stucco.

Parging can be applied to both new walls and walls that have already sustained damage. The mixture's ingredients is the other difference. Water sand and masonry cement make up this combination. Therefore, a thin layer is desirable because the combination is frequently heavy.
